Between the Stockholm Syndrome and the Milgram experiment, most people are easily led. It's tragic.

Many of us have learned this reality, mainly due to and because of the Covid B$ including shutdowns and forced vaxes on us.
We now, have a few church friends, relatives, neighbors and former co workers, to form our responsible enclaves on the west coast, and in other areas in America.
Most of my/our internet so called info sources/sites have changed.
We haven’t watched any tv network or so called live news, since they attacked Trump 24/7 about 8+ years ago.
Old man time has eliminated many of our older friends, in their 70-80’s.
Often, they are being replaced by those in their late 50’s to mid/late 60’s. Many of which, we advised them to leave California to raise their families, and we still get thank yous’ for that advise years/decades ago.
We stopped recommending moving to Oregone or Washington shortly after 9/11.

That reality has been hard on a lot of senior citizens like my wife, many of her friends and me.
My best man at our wedding 62 years ago, and my wife’s maid of honor were lifelong libs as were their parents. They were good people and friends at that time.
The liberals started coming out of their good American closets and becoming full bore PIA’s from 1977 to today.
Yep. In 2016, a bridesmaid from my wedding 48 years before put her foot through a piece of original artwork I had given her in 1966, upon learning I supported Trump.

That’s the truth of the matter. VDH seems to think there are still good liberals who are good people.
You are, unfortunately, absolutely correct. We have been conditioned to welcome punishment and suffering. We lack any motivation to defend ourselves, and are living under the group delusion that we can only deserve having good things happen to us if we earn it through our ongoing suffering and are given it to us by those we've 'wronged'. It's very much like a group psychosis.
Harvard can continue to make that claim, but whether they can protect the plagiarist and keep their donors on the plantation is another matter.

I was in education for 31.5 years and it is certainly biased against western Civ/US History.
