“... and sending it back in selected municipalities.”
And which “municipalities” (read political districts) would the libs in Sacto choose?
I think it would help stop the oceans from raising if states implemented the desalination plants! Solve two problems with one solution. Better then treating waste water, I would think! And stop the constant harping from the climate nuts that we are all gonna drown!
Given the waste of perfectly good rain water, Sacto again opts for a very expensive and sketchy solution to a problem they contrived rather than the obvious, effective and less expensive one.
So instead of building more dams to accommodate the increased population of California and allowing nature and the laws of physics to manage the water supply, they are going to use a method which requires huge amounts of electricity.
This at a time when they are trying to mandate EVs while also stopping oil production and eliminating power plants.
I thought it was all about "the science".
technology, similar to that used for desalination
and you don’t use it for desalination... BECAUSE???
Ummm, does the majority of sewer systems separate gray and black water? no...
The whole stormwater runoff/snowmelt is a farce. Thank you President Nixon for the EPA!
Yuo can bet the elites will have their own water plants which won’t convert urine water to potable water!
California has an ocean to desalinate water and they want to do that.
Insane
If you live in city fed by a fresh water river with any other urban population you are being fed “grey” water. But you say you have been told it comes from a well.... WELLMost towns in that situation use the aquifer under the river and let the biology and sand clean the water over a decade. We all drink something else’s poop every day.
