The drooling irony that Bingham should say this after what he and Conkling did to the Citizenship Clause of the 14^th Amendment renders whatever he might say suspect by intent.

Well, my view on the IL is you need to eliminate it, destroy it. It cannot exist in current form without polluting our government and our society.
