Pieter Omtzigt is some sort of Deep State Front IMHO.
His NSC sucked votes away from the BBB Farmers Party which could have gotten 20 or more seats only got seven in the end.
But we shall yet see what comes down.

I noted the likelihood of this result in the threads on the posts when the news of the “victory” of Wilders’ party (25% of the legislature seats) was first announced, so this news is not surprising to me at all.
With only 25% of the legisture seats and the very fractured and splintered political parties of the Netherlands, reflected in a very fractured and splintered national legislature, I think it would be a miracle for Wilders’ party to form a majority coalition.
Who will form the coalition?
Wud his party outright have to win 51%?
For Wilders to form a government he must have or get a majority of the legislature’s seats to agree, either by his party alone having a majority or by his party getting a majority coalition with some group of other parties.
