A professor from NYU just moved into my Memphis neighborhood. He's teaching remotely. He couldn't pass on the low taxes and property values. He sub-let his apartment.
He's toxic with leftistism.

Tenure is the most destructive policy ever implemented in education.

Look at what the tuition you pay for gets you. Here are some examples:
* Harvard offers
“Taylor Swift” courses ,
* Princeton teaches you about
“Getting Dressed” in the morning,
* At Emerson College, you can learn about “Deconstructing TV’s Buffy” for real college credits, all while the taxpayer satisfies the terms of your loan—even
Jeff Bezos’s Washington Post was forced to report on the “alarming decline” in education.

Tenure once was the rebel’s case against being unfairly fired.
It is now the conformist’s case aginst being fairly fired.

Yep. I live blocks from Rhodes College. I see them all. The professors of value have all retired. My church is highly and seriesly full of the retired ones. They all did nothing when they could have. Now they complain.

I'd expect the educational institutions of our foreign adversaries to quickly snap them up with generous employment opportunities as a reward for past services rendered.

De Santis should have held his fire and waited until the end of Trumps second term.

He sees them at every turn. It’s pretty funny. Our street is so homogeneous of all sorts that he hates it. He wants to experience what doesn’t really exist here.

How pathetic is that? He can’t afford his high taxes and sky-high rents or purchase prices that his progressivism created, so he flees it and works remotely in a conservative area.
There’s nothing like the courage of one’s convictions, is there?
