With every Democrat elected, the nation rots further.

The teachers will be just as dumb as the students. Maybe dumber.

Well, if they’re too stupid to teach reading, writing and Arithmetic they can ‘teach’ sexual kinks and lies of left wing crazies...

Which is probably the point anyhow.

One wonders how The Bee can compete with real headlines like this.

I pity New Jersey students.

All part of the enslavement plan- keep us ignorant and keep stealing our children, whether mentally or physically, both = $. Do the math if able.

Best example yet of the Teachers Unions LEADING role in the near complete destruction of “Public” Schools nationwide.

Poor folks kids, stuck in these tragic and fraudulent buildings (quit calling them “schools”) being the ones that are most harmed. ALL my grandkids go to charter or private schools. Last “Public” School grandkid quit her Public School last week and enrolled in a charter school that has RULES and enforces them.

This is exactly why the “saveourschools” cheddardippers are coming so hard after the ESA vouchers in AZ. They know they are finished if parents have a choice.

Nothing new. Teachers have been illiterate since 1980.

https://hslda.org/legal: state homeschooling laws ... We homeschooled in GA at a time when some parents elsewhere were being jailed. It’s so much easier now with online options not available back then. Allows much more time for kids to “follow their bliss”.

Thos who can, do
Those who cannot, teach
Those who cannot teach, teach the teachers
Those who cannot teach the teachers become the deans.

Thanks to the ACT in 1971, I scored high enough to nab an ROTC scholarship. My grades were ok, 3.6 GPA, but I landed in the 95th percentile on the test. There is value in these tests, except for those who love participation trophies.

They’re called basic for a reason. This hurts the very students the union claims to care most about.

This is a move to pander to minorities AND to recruit teachers into a profession increasingly devoted not to education but to indoctrination.

This is a move to find teachers. Competent teachers (see below) are leaving. They are recruiting blacks to keep the doors open. Never mind the students are going to graduate as stupid as ever.

This link was posted recently about whites leaving teaching in droves.

An increasingly thankless job, except for the benefits package, I suppose.

Rampant misbehavior, reduced pensions, constantly under the microscope by kids, parents & admin., paperwork galore, etc.

I expect accelerated self-attrition by the good ones, like NYPD. I know several teachers who say they are stuck because they’re too close to retirement but too old to start anew somewhere else.
