That’s what I was trying to say: Trump could have reassigned Falsie to study caribou viruses in Alaska, or something, instead of having him in Washington in front of the cameras every day. All without arbitrarily firing Falsie, which Civil Service laws say no one can do, not even the President.
Trump DID care too much what the Democrats and media thought of him: he needed to be “more Trump” than he actually was. Trump also should never have “walked back” his insults to McCain’s “heroism” either: what he said the first time about that warmongering charlatan was dead on accurate! There was NO need to apologize to that corrupt war pig or “clarify” anything. Oh, well. Nobody’s perfect...
