They splurge on everything. Biden’s answer is always Money, and for three years Mitch whips Votes to get Biden’s agenda through.
Reagan used force as a last resort, but when he did so he usually didn’t tie their hands behind their back and say now fight.
The US/NATO/Western Europe screwed up Reagans magnificent not a shot fired to win Cold War victory over the Soviets. Are we totally responsible, no! The Russians also did stupid things to bring us to this point. Much of this mess goes back to the Clintons/Obama/BiteMe’s incompetence and the US deep state buffoon’s.

How so?? I know of one issue he disagreed with Reagan on - Apartheid in South Africa (in which Mitch was joined with a majority of the GOP Senators). On what other issues did Mitch break with Reagan???

No he could not have done that and would not have done that. Neither the U.S. nor NATO had any treaty obligation with Poland at the time.
