Southern Appalachian also is rather close to rural yeoman accents from England 1600s too

Rush picked up on nuances in politics that I missed and I was always amazed to discover later that he was correct in what was coming next. We have no one now with his insights and understanding of the left’s corruption and shenanigans. All the others live in Rush’s shadow.
I remember I would go to my car at lunch time (I worked in academia) so I could listen to the first hour of Rush’s radio show. I was always the one at the office most up-to-date on the latest political news.
I could understand him if I wanted to, but there’s something about him I just can’t stand.

It is very annoying, since he is smart enough to moderate it. I truly loathe his verbal tic of making a slight pause where a "T" should be. Many New Yorkers do that also -- "button" = BUH un.
That said, I do find him interesting and no longer care desperately about horndogs who take advantage of stupid, starstruck or climber girls, unless the girls are genuinely stupid, handicapped, or underage. They have to learn somehow, since apparently their families failed them in "What All Guys Really Want 101."
