Which is supporting evidence for my hypothesis that Democrat voters are unable to learn. They see no correlation between their party of choice and the mess the country is now. Putting a sleeve in a gas line from the house to the main in the street is one thing, replacing junctions and larger mains is another.

I watched a junction replacement that took five weeks and involved a giant hole, traffic redirects, cops on site for the construction,etc. I couldn't imagine the cost and that was just for one junction, not even a major interchange.

The Dems think they will mandate electric heating. Problem is sufficient infrastructure simply does not exist. So the answer will probably be space heaters, which of course will lead to fires.
