Global warming hysteria from an ultra-liberal headline screamer.

Invalid study. It Has to go back at least 500 years to be a valid study.

Because God said so. Climate is in God’s plan. No one can change it.

“Atlantic hurricanes are over twice as likely to quickly intensify into major storms in the past two decades compared to a comparable period in the late 20th century, according to research published Thursday in the journal Scientific Reports.”

Now that the ekspurts have spoken we can rest easy in the certainty that then next twenty years will see fewer and weaker hurricanes.

What’s also unprecedented is the number of leftists abusing the word ‘unprecedented’.

This is supposed to pass for comprehensive research regarding intensity of hurricane formation?

Yes but those were not comparable years.

Are they seriously placing "odds" on events that have already happened in the past? I mean, the Browns are extremely likely to beat the 49ers 19-17 last week. If you'd like to give me the Browns and the money-line on that, I'm in.

Since when is something in the past considered relevant in the context of ‘likely’?

EXACTLY!

That’s ehat happens when you cherry-pick your data to fit a time frame to make your narrative look true. Go all the way back, and you’ll find a different outcome.

Only the Atlantic? Sooooo, there’s worse climate change in the Atlantic than there is in the Pacific? Do they even know what causes rapid intensification? Does climate change affect ocean currents or the jet stream? Just asking because according to the Weather Channel, everything is affected by worsening climate change. Even your monthly, if you know what I mean. Or your migraines. It’s become just absolutely ridiculous.

Cherry picking your data to get the result you intended to get.

Hurricanes seem consistent over time.

Named storms are up, but I wonder if the criteria for that hasn’t changed.

2005 was a one off bad year.
