IIRC the GOP money folks spent about $200 million in their failed attempt to get Jeb Bush nominated in 2016.
Do you have the numbers on how much money DeSantis has spent thus far?

Nothing distinct. I'd imagine it was comparable to the amound Jeb threw away.

Maybe the problem began when he thought bashing Trump was the way to go

Not sure about DeSantis's cumulative totals, but it looks like in the third quarter Trump raised $24.5 million in Q3, with $24.19 million of that being transferred from his joint fundraising committee

According to these financial statements (assuming they are official), looking at the one for Trump you posted he only had ~$100K in actual donations from individuals, whereas DeSantis had ~$9 MILLION. So much for the claim Trump's donations are coming from the working man!

All that money wasted in a primary instead of being used against the Democrats.

This article is shear nonsense. Trump moved money over from 2021 stop the steal fund drive to give the illusion that he raised jack squat. Trump made only 100k is small donations. RDS made almost 9 million lol.
Maybe some of you Trump followers should get a second job to help Trump out more lol.

If the DeSantos is spending all of his money on his campaign and not pocketing it, he sure is doing a piss poor job. Certainly not someone I want as president.

I actually wonder if a few of them are not being paid by the Trump campaign.

This article is shear nonsense. Trump moved money over from 2021 stop the steal fund drive to give the illusion that he raised jack squat. Trump made only 100k is small donations. RDS made almost 9 million lol. I was just doing the math on this. According to those statements, Trump brought in ~$25M total in the quarter, with ~$100K being individual donors. DeSantis brought in ~$11M total in the quarter, with ~$9M coming from individual donors.
So for the quarter, Trump's donor base is 0.004% made up of individual donors to his campaign. This is $100K/$25M.
Meanwhile DeSantis donor base is 82% made up of individual donors to his campaign. This is $9M/$11M.
This clearly and completely obliterates the myth that Trump's campaign is based on small individual donors. It's actually DeSantis who is almost completely based on small individual donors.
To: Presbyterian Reporter
Well we know about 85-90% of it came from the big establishment donors…
They have no moved on.. Haley will be the person getting the cash from them next.

Hey, you got out of FR jail.
What’s amazing is they actually allowed you back. That is most inquisitive.
