History will be kind to Bibi but not to Joe Biden.

Seymour Hersh and his Mossad plant “sources”. The same Mossad that ran Epstein spinning him off from Robert Maxwell through his daughter. The war will last far longer than a month or two. See: Iran. US is “helping” under the direction of Jake Sullivan the mastermind behind Benghazi who is one of the dumbest a@@es ever in the Nat Sec position, and a gun running crook for Hitlery’s crowd at State.

It doesn’t matter really.
Hamas is going to be gone.

Hamas replaced the PLO when it became insufficiently hostile to Israel's right to exist and borders. That attitude will never really die among Palestinian and other Arabs. All that can be done practically is to push them further away from Israel's borders and general population.

With Gaza destroyed and unable to be a threat for a very long time, Bibi has done the job and someone else can take over.

That job may take longer, and be more costly than you think. Regardless of what they claim, Muslims are not peaceful people.

Those, including several here, who lack any intellectual ability to accomplish anything but tounge wag about blame are just ordinary run of the mill worthless people

An opinion is like a belly button. Everyone has one. I am just noting that blame will be apportioned. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and Natanyahu and his government got caught with their pants down, and people died, suffered, and were kidnapped. He can say war was inevitable with Hamas, but that doesn't excuse him not being prepared for when it started. Ultimately, Israelis will decide his political fate and legacy, not FReepers typing away here.

I suspect —but do not know—this court had a hand in squashing citizen’s rights to own firearms and if so could benefit Bibi after this Hamas invasion.

20% of Israel are Arabs. The government wouldn't want them to be armed.

Yes I tend to agree.

The fact that Israeli intelligence appeared to have absolutely no clue this was going on is a huge failure….

Hard to believe when the dust settles very high level folks heads will roll

I don’t think this administration knows much about what’s going on anywhere in the world except maybe for the Ukraine. The Ukraine is America’s Official Butt Boy since O’Bama left.

the only ones supporting baby-murdering Hamas terrorists are Russia, China, and the usual Muslim suspects
And John Brennan.

Netanyahu has defied the political odds time and again, but there is going to be an accounting of what happened on October 7th once the smoke clears.

An Israeli commission set up after the Yom Kippur War absolved Golda Meir of " direct responsibility" for the IDF's lack of preparation as the Arab armies advanced on Israel.

She still took the fall for it. Her coalition lost seats, she could not form a government, and she resigned in 1974. Netanyahu was not exactly a popular figure in Israel before October 7. Listening to the survivors of the massacre, it is obvious they are angry that it took so long for the IDF to respond and that the intelligence and security agencies were caught so completely by surprise.

It is hard to see how Netanyahu survives this

When the libs ousted him they disarmed the country. How that work out? He is going to smash all the surrounding Arabs then retire on his own terms. All the “intellectual” jews are the problem. Too late to hide...the internet is forever.

NordStream, was he right or you? Or do you still believe Slo Joe’s Posse? Do you really need someone, discredited journalist or not, to figure out that Netanyahu will be held responsible for the security FU, because HE IS. Just because there’s a war time unity cabinet doesn’t mean he won’t be crucified by the oppo regardless of how the ground invasion plays out. I assumed what the article supposes a week ago. We’ll see if Hersh and I are right or you. Who do you blame for incredible lapse in security? Putin?

“Israeli polls show 86% of Israelis hold Netanyahu and his policies responsible for this catastrophic security failure. So he’s definitely on his way out.”

He is the man in charge. What will be his excuse?

As is happening in a lot of events in the world, it is all incomprehensible. Can these leaders be this incompetent and stupid?

" (Like Seymour’s story on the Russia-Germany natural gas pipe)"

Seymour's lips are wrapped about The Company's pipe, that much is certain.

This ...

"The reality, he said, is that Hamas is not rational and is incapable of any negotiations, and Qatar will not intervene."

Overrules this...

“The big debate today,” he said, “is whether to starve Hamas out or kill as many as 100,000 people in Gaza."

You don't negotiate with a rat in a trap who has a mouthful of your cheese.

Biden.

I notice you do not list any of the six billion instances of Hersh getting it dead wrong.

Hersch acolytes are beyond reasoned discussion.

I’m gobsmacked there’s resistance to his attempts to disallow SC (liberal) justices to choose their replacements which guarantees liberalism will reign havoc forever.

If the highest authority is appointed by members of an exclusive group (of lawyers in this case) then you don’t have a democracy. You have an oligarchy.

it’s like Iran where the ayatollahs can say who is allowed to run for president or not. Not a democracy either.

Yup. He’s done. Now I’m seeing a report that the US made a deal with him to turn the water to Gaza back on. He keeps screwing this whole thing up.
