If DeSwamp was serious about this he would have announced it on Day One of his campaign.

Not when he whad fallen to 10 % in the polls.

Most of the thousands of Venezuelans that are arriving here now have been living in comfort in other countries for a looong time.

They have no right to be HERE!

《》《》
The only thing that needs to be changed is that our government needs to follow its own laws.

DeSantis is backed by Bushes. Open borders is what they like. I doubt DeSantis would ever get a deportation agenda past the people who pay his bills.

He is just trying to verbally throw stuff out there to compete with Trump.

If Biden can make them legal through an illegal executive order a Republican can make them illegal through an executive order to enforce the actual laws

The founders told us what we needed to do with a corrupt tyrannical government. The question is, will we do it? I’m leaning towards no there’s not enough of us willing willing

Except the New York governor is just sounding tough. What she wants is federal money to house more of them

Accept many of them pass through a safe country, Mexico, to get here they were supposed to claim asylum in Mexico so they’re not legal asylum seekers. Get enough of the right judges or hearing officers or whatever is needed to process these people in a month even a week and send them back where they came from.

Let’s be honest, neither DeSantis or Trump could get a plan like this past Congress. Regardless of who’s in control of the house or Senate

I would add... ‘yet’
I think eventually once we’re down the churchillian ladder long and far enough there’ll be a war of revolution that will dwarf the world wars altogether. I’m relatively certain I won’t be around for it. Maybe my grandchildren, or their children.

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

~ Winston Churchill (churchillan ladder)

I think the trouble is that ‘our side’ is not currently on the ascendant zeitgeist. So history will record victory to the winner of that war which in this case would be against the federal government. We have a historical precedent to how that ends. The only response to this would be the ‘long march’ like the democrats did starting in the 60’s. March through the culture and institutions with lawfare and strategic demographics. I know more than one person who moved into a different state or county in order to affect the electoral outcomes. And they have a federally funded organized army of lawyers to enforce those outcomes.

I don’t yet see the movement from our side yet.
I’m watching...

Teach the children quietly
For some day sons and daughters

Will rise up and fight
While we stood still
