5 New Jersey hospitals reinstate COVID-19 mask mandate

There is one thing I’ve thought about & about half decided to do when my next dr. appointments come due. I will tell them if masks are a requirement at the hospital, then I guess I won’t show up for my appointment. Maybe they will ask why...further indicating their ignorance.

They don’t mention this, but maybe wearing masks will reduce crime in locales where that’s a problem. Think about it..I live in a low-crime area where I rarely see anyone wearing a mask.

The problem the first time around is you couldn't go into our local HEB stores without a mask. People lined up outside waiting for the stores to open at 8am (apparently they needed time to "hose down" the stores because COVID was that dangerous). Armed guards outside the stores to make sure everyone behaved and all were wearing masks. I wish this were sarcasm.

Ah yes, the halcyon days of 2020-2021. They were keeping track of how many people were coming and going since only a set number of folk were allowed to be inside at one time, cops with guns at every entrance, felt like I was in a queue at a concentration camp waiting my turn for access to the gruel. Never wore a mask but either a keffiyeh or shemagh tied up Bedouin or Palestinian style, depending on my mood, barked Arabic at anyone who tried to be a pest. Yeah stay away from the terrorist guy, LoL. Presently several weeks ago, went into the local HEB around the time the media upticked on 24/7 Covid fear porn and nearly every checker was wearing a mask as were many employees. Went back a week later, masks were gone. A rare incident of sanity must have occurred.

Maybe someone tested "positive" for COVID, and corporate policy is employees mask up when that happens. Who knows.
