LOL as though parts can’t be moved to a depot in Ukraine. No one will be tearing down turbines in the field, maybe not even in depot: parts will simply be swapped out. And if they need more highly trained techs, then ex-Army techs will be hired for depot work in Ukraine, which is the US military’s SOP.

That was the controversy over sending them.
It will be interesting to see if Ukraine found a niche to make these tanks useful or if decision inertia and image pressure got them sent when it wasn’t practical to do so.

Tanks in Iraq were used in cities or to patrol the same roads or support tactical operations on roads or near towns. That made them vulnerable to IEDs.
