More likely it is the increased cost of new mortgages that are causing resell price decline.

TAKE A LONG LOOK AT YOUR AUTO INSURANCE. Mine has gone up bout 47% in the past 2 years with all the ILLEGAL INVADERS pouting in.

I live rural-—have NOT had ANY accidents in over 60 years & drive less than 5000 miles a year.

Good grief I live in Florida also. Everyone is complaining about their homeowners insurance rising. Ours went up twice as much as it was before and is going up next year. I belong to an HOA And we have paid for new groves, and all the stuff and still have problems.. Maybe you don’t have homeowners insurance or you don’t know what you’re talking about.
You could’ve looked at it I live in Florida instead of being so nasty

My insurance has gone up about 40% over ten years. My area went from rural with pockets of suburb, to suburb with pockets of rural, unfortunately.

Some insurance companies with life insurance units may be looking to make up recent losses.

I told you mine went up 200 dollars. Perhaps your insurance policy was substandard and needed to come into compliance. You foolishly brought in Florida on a California thread. All to show how much you hate DeSantis. Immature at best.

California needs to practice some proper forest management for once to slow down wild fires. This state is a century behind the rest of humanity with their forest management and this is a self-inflicted wound.

I don’t have a problem with people living wherever they want...as long as they assume all the risk. If they can get private insurance for their property, good for them. If not, they can live there but they are on their own.

This should be especially true for beach front property...as it is only a matter of time, in many places, until the property is damaged or destroyed by nature. I don’t get to enjoy the beach front view...I shouldn’t have to pay or in any way subsidize someone else’s lifestyle choices.

You’re right I don’t think my governor is a good man. And I voted for him twice. But now I am sorry and I would never vote for him for president and I don’t think I’m a foolish person but that’s OK. You have a right to your opinion.
