“The Dream” died a long time ago as the people of color saw weakness in the government, willing cohorts in all media and academic placed themselves as ABOVE all other races.

American culture and USA black tribal culture are antithetical to each other. If blacks were to abandon their tribe, by the vote, The Democrat elite would wither away and die.
It is a cultural thing not a racial thing. It cannot be fixed. Culture is like religion, people would rather die and kill than give it up.
Yes, agreed. It shows a lot of racism among a few people who can’t even respect what Martin Luther King accomplished, his legacy, even if a bit abused in recent years. Really a shame as today’s Republican party is much closer to King’s legacy than what the Democrats have become. But, alas, both have racists and bigots in their midst.

That is, he was caught in between two Communist Party members, Levinson and Jack O’Dell ( identified in the HCUA hearings on “Communism in the South”, 1956, with Levinson, an admitted KGB money bagman to the CPUSA, as King’s legal advisor and O’DELL being his personal secretary/aide and key person in the SCLC, Operation Breadbasket and then Operation PUSH.
David Garrow wrote about some of this in his book The FBI and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. However he missed the massive Communist Party infiltration of Dr. King’s movement.
There is also a lot of other issues concerning Dr. King’s behavior.
Jesse Jackson Jr. kept O’Dell on in SCLC/PU$H including liaison with the PLO.
