I think there will be people who voted for him in 2020 that will vote against him in 2024 due to the way he handled losing the election.

I recall his record and policy just fine, thank you, and that suffices for me to vote on him. I don’t need to hear him go over it yet again. His personality remains the same as ever, too, and his ability to touch on all his stump speech talking points. If he adds anything new, it’ll be all over the news. I found his interview on CNN very interesting, because he was contending with a hostile hostess, and he dominated the interview, wiping the floor with her.

“We prefer to ask questions”

Pshaw! Are you going to be in the studio audience, then? I don’t know what questions Tucker will be asking him, but have little confidence in his ability or willingness to ask the important ones.

They are the same voters who chose Trump over Hillary in 2016 but chose Biden in 2020.

"Trump hasn’t even signed the loyalty pledge and you guys think"

Oh my, not the "loyalty pledge" to a political party that makes an art out of betraying its voters! You GOPe party boys are some real dim bulbs. With guys like you leading the party it's no wonder the GOP is is nothing but the butt boy of the Democratic Party.

When any other presidential candidate has the crowd he gets, then I’ll believe some Trump voters will go to others

I’m going to leave the name calling aside - none of this addresses:

-Didn’t fire Fauci
-Fumbled the ball in the 2022 midterms which were very winnable
-Won’t even pay the legal bills of Giuliani one of his most ardent supporters
-Didn’t clean out DOJ

Honestly this is emblematic of a problem we’ve had in the Republican Party for a long time. We all say we want to get rid of RINOs and we have to do better in the primary, and then we give Trump a pass on all of this.

Yeah, yeah, I know, Meatball DeSoros or whatever...ok now that you got that out of your system, address the points I’ve made. Address the actual issues.

What you’re doing is called being an idiot. Learn to read, and don’t try to put words in my mouth. I think that any candidate, including Trump, should tell people why they should vote for him rather than why they should vote against another candidate.

And I didn’t even mention debates. In fact, I couldn’t possibly care less about candidates debating, and have no intention of watching any debate no matter who participates. It’s been a very long time since such debates were anything but meaningless theatrics.

1. If you don't recall the hysteria created by the media during Covid, I feel sorry for you. The idea that Trump, or you, or anyone knew we were being scammed is fairy dust. He did well in trying to reopen the country, downplaying the threat, giving advice on using hydroxy, etc. but the lies and the hysteria ruled. Believing the hysteria, that was all of our faults, not his.

2. He didn't fumble the ball, the GOP did under Ryan. Bunches of them quit and left office, bunches of them didn't support Trump's policies. That and the false Russia Russia Russia stories from the left mad that happen. Not Trump.

3. I doubt your Guiliani story is true. Just another lefty story like all the rest. Prove it. I dare you. Letists articles cited ARE NOT proof.

4. He might have done better on the DOJ. Maybe. I don't think any of us knew how bad it had become. Not a one of us knew. Also, he was threatened by the GOP that they wouldn't support anything he did if he got rid of these people. Graham and company made that quite clear. 20 20 hindsight is what you are relying on. Now that he knows, he'll fire the whole damn bunch of them this time.

Please be aware you are not arguing with rational people. This is another finding from that CBS poll they are celebrating. They will literally believe what Trump tells them over their own family:

A silly statement. I don't know one Trump supporter who is that blind. Not one. No doubt there are a few. But no more than follow any other politician. That's a leftist narrative you are pushing, and simply not true.

"He did well in trying to reopen the country"

Trump essentially turned control of the country's economy over to that garden gnome Fauci.

The effects of that disaster will be felt for decades

I have a dopey lib sister and also one of my brothers is a NYTs regurgitating lefty, so, yeah - I am inclined to think Trump has much more credibility. I sure as hell don't believe anything coming from you.

So you will sit out the election like a stupid ass.

Oh stop. That happened everywhere. Everywhere. Twas the hysteria. The overstated Italy lies (and others) everywhere in the media.

Tell me, did you know? Did anyone know that early? It took 3 months before the Barrington Declaration to come out. 3 months. By then it was too late. I remember Trump fighting to restart, but the hysteria had taken its toll. Mass psychosis.

Who would have done better? I'd like to see your answer.

I give it at most three years.

By then, no one on this forum will admit they were ever a supporter of Donald Trump.

Just like all the "Day in the Life of Jorge Bush" threads evaporated and no one wanted to admit they were Bushie groupies.

The worm will turn

You’re right about that. My father’s Republican party occasionally won elections

Like every TDS sufferer, you sure do love the “Democratic” Party.

What a loser.
