We could charitably assume they are confusing the Doolittle raid with the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombingsā¦but to them, I am no longer charitable.
If everybody just ignored these idiots they would go away in time.
I’ve been watching the multi-part series on the raid narrated by Gary Sinise over the past five or six days. There’s a Youtube video of all episodes strung together. It makes the story a bit repetitive but it’s quite good. Also I’ve seen enough B-25 Mitchell video to last a lifetime.
Anyway the episode I watched tonight pointed out that at the very same time as the Doolittle raiders were riding the Hornet over toward Japan, the Bataan Death March was occurring.
I have spent a lot of time in SE Asia. The Social Justice idiots who try to paint the Japanese as victims because the US was mainly white, and the Imperial Japanese were the poor, picked-on “other” racial minority, are completely oblivious to what the Japanese did to other Asians in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.
I spent time in Singapore in the early 90s, and there were still middle-aged people who were still quite riled up at the Japanese for what they’d done in WWII.
