Name anyone else out of the thousands of people who have threatened presidents over the last 50 years, who were gunned down by an FBI SWAT team.

I well remember the Waco Sheriff story. What has always baffled me is why he didn’t stop them or at least slow them down. Local elected sheriffs have huge authority but it seems most don’t realize it. Federal law enforcement can’t operate in a county without first clearing it with local elected law enforcement. Way too much wink wink nod nod goes on.

In the old days, two clean cut men in suits would knock on the door at a sane hour. Now 30 pussies dressed like the 82nd Airborne show up with a tank, grenades, and assault rifles to go after a a man they KNEW was just a frustrated 76 year old, 300 pound disabled man who cannot walk without a cane.
Also, in the old days, they would have simply assigned a couple of men to watch him until Biden left town. He would have never known.

A House Democrat who faces a tough re-election bid to maintain her post in Congress has boasted about efforts from her and her colleagues to turn the centrist Blue Dog Coalition into an “antifascist rural” group.
Speaking during a “Postcarding and Conversation” late last month, Washington Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez – who co-chairs the Blue Dog Coalition with Reps. Jared Golden, D-Maine, and Rep. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska – said that she and other leadership within the coalition are working to “rebuild” the group after it lost some of its membership over disagreements earlier this year.
“So Jared, Mary, and I actually just took over the Blue Dogs,” Gluesenkamp Perez said during the July 31 event, which was hosted by the Downtown Nasty Women Social Group, a group of so-called progressive activists in New York City, and Markers for Democracy. “They basically lost some of their membership before we came in, and we are sort of rebuilding it into – Mary, Jared, and I – are rebuilding it into this sort of antifascist rural [group].”

The FBI investigation began with a tip about the Bragg threat from Trump’s own social media platform Truth Social in March, after Robertson posted about “waiting in the courthouse parking garage” with a suppressed weapon and wanting to “put a nice hole in his forehead.” His account has since been suspended from the platform.

Funny you mention Waco. A few years before F-Troop launched their great cattle trailer raid, the local McClennan County Sheriff had to arrest Koresh on a murder warrant that arose out of a shootout with the former leader.
Two men in blazers and cowboy hats went out and showed him a warrant, and he surrendered. No muss, no fuss.
But ATF was facing serious funding threats and wanted a big splashy show. So they lied about it being a big dope operation so they could access Fort Hood training and Army hardware. F-Troop always makes it a production.
