All those built up billions with no Ukie to give them to.
“... potential clash between President Joe Biden, who revived the Western alliance and is Ukraine’s most critical outside supporter, and ex-President Donald Trump, a NATO skeptic who admires Putin and has pledged to end the war in 24 hours, likely on Putin’s terms.”
This CNN “reporter” did not even have to get out of bed to pen the narrative. Looks like the DNC just mocked it up for him, attached his name and sent it to Biden campaign central at CNN to publish
Consider Wiki's list of the relatively few French political parties....
List of political parties in France
Since the thread begins with "a stalled Ukrainian offensive" and "a huge political problem for Zelensky in the US," it is interesting how France became such an issue. One wonders: do Macron and Le Pen agree on things Ukrainian? Apparently not.
One reads: ,
"On substance, Ms. Le Pen is sticking to her position, denouncing both the actions of Vladimir Putin and the "imperial vision" and "dangerous war-mongering attitudes" of the European Union. According to her, economic sanctions hurt the French more than Russia, especially because they've sharply increased the price of oil and gas. She believes that the delivery of weapons makes France a "cobelligerent." The RN also considers the training of Ukrainian troops as an act of belligerence."Well now. C'est le plus intéressant, n'est-ce pas?Source: https://www.lemonde.fr/en/france/article/2022/10/02/in-the-face-of-putin-s-difficulties-marine-le-pen-doubles-down-on-her-criticism-of-europe_5998806_7.html
The offensive stalled weeks ago.
The defense is already dug in and have supplies in place so movement is not as critical as those on the offense(Ukraine)
And typically, it takes an 3 to 1 advantage on offense to overcome an well placed defense. Having air superiority was a “must have” for the Ukrainians and since they lack it all the armour they have will be wasted as its being dashed against the layered lines of well planned Russian defenses.
Not a fanboy of Russia nor Putin by any means but a student of history.
The thing is...
Trump was the one who started sending shiploads of hightech weapons to Ukraine.
Trump is the one behind the initiative of sending weapons to Ukraine.
Before Trump we had Obama... And what did Obama send to Ukraine?? Blankets!! Yes you read that well: blankets!
He never sent any weapons, in order to please and appease Russia.
Since I’m not fond of Obama policies... I prefer to continue Trump policies. Policies that arms Ukraine to protect us from and deplete the the deeply anti-American Globo-China-Russia-North Korea-Cuba-IRAN axis.
When it comes to corruption... just look at the depth of the deep state in America... If we look at how Trump is witch-hunted here on America, I think we are way more corrupted.
Corruption should not be an issue when it comes to peoples and our allies rights to remain sovereign within their countries.
The Russia-China alliance want to take over the world.
We can’t be “Neville Chamberlain” on these issues.
“I prefer to continue Trump policies.”
Trump wants the war to stop. He’s not advocating sending the Ukraine, which he describes as among the most corrupt in the world, more money or weapons. I hope you’ll support Trump by calling for peace negotiations. Note Trump did NOT call for Putin to withdraw troops - just peace negotiations. But, Putin has included UN investigation of US Bio warfare labs in the Ukraine so Biden/NATO/Zelensky will not negotiate.
The supplies can’t be in place forever because supplies are constantly consumed. Currently Ukraine has GMLRS and Excalibur precision artillery and Storm Shadow and SCALP air launched missiles to destroy the supply depots and disrupt the logistics.
There is a campaign that Germany should donate their Taurus air launched long-range missiles and the US the ATACMS ground launched one to make the effort to deny Russian supply more effective.
One of the problems has always been that Western military aid comes late after much hand wringing and when it is late the task has already gotten harder.
Biden is slow, but he is not as bad as Obama, who wouldn’t even allow TOW-2 anti-tank missiles. Trump’s first break from Obama’s policy was that he sent Javelins right away.
