Multiple fires started at the same time on multiple islands? Shades of Canada? I’ve been to Lahaina. Lovely historic old fishing town. The old courthouse, ancient Banyan tree, the harbor, waterfront park, Front Street. They anchor the cruise ships right there and send cruisers for excursions on Front Street. I have family in Maui. They are telling me Front Street is burned to the ground, or at least that’s what they are hearing.
I’ve heard that but it’s 9 am there and we’ve yet to see any actual pictures of the area. I’ve been there as well and loved Front St. Maria Lanika Church is probably also gone.

We did a port call there...rode a liberty taxi from the boat and back. Great little spot. Apparently, the old town area was burnt to the ground.
