They are confused about law and constitution, and they are invested in an unknown candidate way too soon.

Eventually the truth always comes out.

I think this interview was very enlightening. He is radically pro “choice”.

To say he would veto any federal restriction on abortion is the same position as Biden and Pelosi.

Congress has a right and obligation to legislate protection of human life. Hiding behind a position that it is only a State issue is a pro abortion position.

He lost my vote.

Congress already has assumed the unborn are life.

18 U.S. Code § 1841 - Protection of unborn children | U.S. Code | US ...

U.S. Code Notes (a) (1) Whoever engages in conduct that violates any of the provisions of law listed in subsection (b) and thereby causes the death of, or bodily injury (as defined in section 1365) to, a child, who is in utero at the time the conduct takes place, is guilty of a separ

"That wasn’t remotely an answer to my question. I’m not voting for anyone, as I live in Wilmington DE now"

Let's break out the crayons.

Pay some attention to what Ramalamadingdong actually said if you can, just for once, read past the headline and perhaps attempt taking in the actual article in its entirety.

This red-dot dog insists that:

If you are not offended by both of those statements, you should be. And I don't care about your ballot. Cram it.

His slip here is revealing.

He is a total unknown. It is better to be wary than naively trusting.

“I think the pro-life movement needs to walk the walk,” Ramaswamy said, emphasizing his commitment to supporting contraception, adoption, childcare, sexual responsibility and responsible fatherhood

If you read between the lines, he is clearly separating himself from the “pro-Life Movement “.

He not only doesn’t walk the walk, he clearly doesn’t talk the talk.

He knows nothing about the movement, or he is just a liar.

***adoption, childcare, sexual responsibility and responsible fatherhood***

The catholic part of the pro-life movement rejects contraception, but all of pro-life accepts those others.

Why is he attacking the pro-life movement? I’d say he’s signaling DeSantis’ deep pocket bushies that he’s available.

For cryin out loud. Not again. I’ve already answered this today. Would you read the statute please. I agree: if murder is committed in the territorial waters, or at a federal facility, or if it is a federal official who is the victim, then, yes, that can be charged as federal murder. If you shoot your neighbor, or if the lady next door kills her baby, that is a state crime. Period. Go back to your civics. The federal government is not meant to be some Uber power over the state governments ; quite the contrary. . Ninth and tenth amendments. Federal government has no jurisdiction over state crimes

So, you aren’t denying the fed has homicide powers. They regularly claim jurisdiction in more than cases involving location, don’t they?

Federal government has no jurisdiction over state crimes

The Feds have jurisdiction over all kinds of crimes. Kidnapping, bank robbery, terrorist threats, income tax evasion, civil rights violations, hate crimes, blocking the entrance to an abortion clinic. Oh, yeah, that’s a federal crime.

If Congress can pass a law making it a crime to interfere with an abortion, they can certainly make it a crime to perform one.

You claimed earlier that no one is more pro life than you. Really?

Whose side are you really on?

I agree. Although I am rabid pro-life, this is currently an issue for each state to decide. With that said, if the SCOTUS ruled that the unborn are a protected class under the 5th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, then I would be a very happy person.

I agree.

So if you were president and congress passed a bill making it a federal felony to perform an abortion in the 9th month of pregnancy, you would veto it?

That’s essentially what Ramaswamy said and do you agree?

Or maybe you posted without thinking?

I agree. As potus, i’d never veto a bill making 9th month abortion a felony. How would that not be child sacrifice?

Don’t most people come out of nowhere at first?

Regardless, I saw nothing wrong with his words in the article. I realize that Democrats violate the tenth Amendment and Republicans, rightly complain. I’m not advocating that we do the same. I realize there are claims that existing law is all we need. Where I’ve checked, those claims do not hold up.

At FR, I’ve read that Vivek is deep state. I’ve read the same about Trump. Some people clearly overdue the paranoia thing.
