He wasn’t doing anything other than making sure that Emperor Zero had no viable opponent from a Conservative Republican. You can’t nominate someone seriously when over half of the party base viscerally opposes that person. The GOP did it two times in a row with the most popular backstabbing RINO weasels possible. That’s when I realized the party establishment itself was hopelessly corrupt and compromised. It’s why the party establishment so viscerally opposed Trump. They wanted another ringer for 2016 (El Jebbe) to graciously “lose” to the Butcheress of Benghazi.
