A donkey is a canine’s worst nightmare. They will not hesitate to kill them. I’ve seen pictures of the brutality they can do.
The officers involved know Bueno. She probably makes a considerable portion of the 12,000 complaints the department investigates each year. I have spoken to her several times over the years. Her stories change frequently. I just learned she hasn’t driven for FedEx in years. She sues everyone. She is well known to this agency. They are smart enough not to use her as a witness in court.
She posted a video of a struggling animal while trespassing. The video shows a struggle not a death. Unless there was a PM, who knows how the animal died? The manner in which the video was obtained and the person who obtained it makes it likely inadmissible.
That was another neighbor who supposedly called, not Salcedo, the horse owner.
I just learned, Bueno hasn’t worked for FedEx for years.
The larger question is why anyone speaks to Bueno? She’s looking to put everyone in the frame.
Because donkeys are @$$holes. ;-)
I couldn’t read the article, it would blur after a few seconds.
Same problem - had a very expensive Thoroughbred colt (born to my mare) plus several other horses. The neighbor down the street was letting her dogs (2) run. I caught them at my place going after 2 goats I borrowed from a friend to eat honeysuckle. Intervened just in time - one of the dogs turned back & challenged me, but I was able to chase it off. I sent the goats home. Then the dogs started chasing the horses and biting at their legs ... horses aren’t much use without good legs.
I talked to the neighbor - could see where the dogs were ripping up her kitchen flooring because they were so bored in the house - that is why she was letting them run. She denied it was her dogs, but one had very distinctive markings so there was no question it was her dogs. After ‘the talk’, she would let the dogs out when she thought I wasn’t around, so I called Animal Control.
This officer had been around forever - no nonsense. He went & talked to the lady & she denied her dogs were the culprits. He told her he was giving me permission to shoot any dogs harassing/chasing the horses. When the dogs were dead, he would come pick them up & take them to her house & then she could see if they were her dogs or not. I did not see those dogs again - found out about a week later, she had gotten rid of them. For sure they were part Husky & the other part looked like German Shepherd to me so they were large & the one was particularly aggressive with no qualms about challenging a person.
BTW, the threat about shooting the dogs was not an idle one.
Nobody had a 22?
In Florida, ranches used to have dogs [pit bulls mostly[ that herded cattle. They were work dogs. They were kept in pens when not working. They would jump up and grab the cow by the nose and flip them. They were not played with. They were not petted. They were called catch dogs.
So she’s triple dipping pensions too? Military pension, cop pension, and Fed-Ex pension? :-)
A lot of conjecture. A lot of illegally obtained evidence that would never make it to court. A lot of emotional women.

No way, not in California.(sarcasm)
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Neighbors watched a horse killed in slow motion. Now they want the owner, and Sonoma County Animal Services, held accountable, fwdude wrote: |
How is a dog any match for a horse?!!! I can see maybe a young foal, but a grown horse? |
I recall reading an account of a pit bull killing a full sized horse. The horse was penned in a sufficiently narrow paddock that the dog could attack the horse's legs, the horse would run to one end of the paddock with the dog following. As the horse reached the end, the dog attacked the legs again and the horse wheeled and ran the short distance to the other end. This continued with the dog wagging his tail and enjoying the sport and the horse collecting wounds on its legs, becoming exhausted and going into shock. Once down, the pit grabbed the neck and the horse couldn't rise with the weight of the dog on him, and the shock/blood loss.
If my dog killed my horse, the solution to my problem is MY problem and not the business of any nosey busybody neighbor.
And Beuno is the nightmare of every stock owner. Horses, sheep, cows,or dogs they stick their nose in the animal owner's affairs....with no knowledge of the facts.
Unfortunately there is one in every neighborhood.
Doesn’t matter.... smoke it.
I doubt there’s much truth to anything she says. I hear she’s trying to get on with the sheriff’s department. Why would you do that after 25 years? Why after 25 years isn’t she qualified for something more than driver? I just heard she hasn’t worked for FedEx for years.
Every time I hear her it’s a different story.
Her place is a dump and she has too many horses. People donate money to her.
TESTIFY BROTHER! I’m 100% on your page.
For over 53 years, I've tried to keep my bias in check after seeing my mom's poor dog get savagely mauled, unprovoked, by a German Shepard. Since then, I've realized why they were the preferred dogs of the NAZIs as well as putting lovely Pit Bull reputations to shame compared the nasty dispositions and bite scorecard of too many of these assholes. Perhaps it's because they're constantly in pain from their genetic hip problems. No matter. I hold dear the memory of my District Judge father calmly promising the FBI owner of that bitch dog that he'd kill it if he ever saw it again. (Back in the good old days when the FBI knew to say "Yes, Sir." and then cowardly creep away.)
My favorite part of Longmire is when the shaman fakir nasty Crow woman caught it — on her own home ground! — from the Irish Mafia for no other reason than to pimp ratings.
In past years, I owned many horses and still own many dogs.

Bueno is a parasite and should be ostracized for her horrible behavior.
Of course our corrupt system of law enables this POS.
Could you calm down a moment and explain what you just typed? How can anyone make a delivery or for potential crime? What does this have to do with a FedEx driver? How would what I like have anything to do with a crime?
The link goes to a site that is not available for non subscribers. Who is Whipple? Who is the Sergeant? Who is Bueno? Who owns the dog? Who owned the horse?
