Our current government has a much better weapon than the gulag. In the gulag you just wasted away and died. In the USA, a formerly great nation, the government’s goon squads can destroy your life through prosecution. There is no defense against it. The government has infinite resources, and you don’t. They can prosecute, delay, put you in jail, force you to defend yourself for an unending list of charges or prosecute you for a “process crime” until you have no more resources. Then you are effectively dead.
