The page referenced in my previous post 72 shows the following problem with the integrity of record-breaking high temperatures.
"According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the highest registered air temperature on Earth was 56.7 °C (134.1 °F) in Furnace Creek Ranch, California, located in Death Valley in the United States, on 10 July 1913. This record was surpassed in 1922 by a reading of 57.8 °C (136.0 °F), registered on 13 September 1922, in ʽAziziya, Libya. Ninety years later [!!! emphasis added], this record was decertified, making the former reading in Death Valley the world's highest official temperature again. The decertification of the former record in Libya has since cast doubt on the validity of the 1913 recording. If the 1913 record were to be decertified, the highest established recorded air temperature on Earth would be 54.0 °C (129.2 °F), also recorded in Death Valley on 20 June 2013, and in Mitribah, Kuwait on 21 July 2016. There have since been higher readings of 54.4 °C (129.9 °F) in August 2020 and July 2021, both at Furnace Creek, that are pending validation." —Highest temperature recorded on Earth (non-FR)

The bottom line is that, because of temperature measuring uncertainty, we probably don't know the highest recorded temperature on earth down to the degree. So when when politically correct global warming alarmists scream that a record high temperature has been broken, it is not necessarily a significant event imo.

So junk science global warming has been exposed imo!

If we had global cooling would we have to use more fossil fuels? Would i get a tax refund?

How do we control the sun and the earth’s angle on its axis toward the sun?

In spite of all the howling, this is far from the hottest I’ve seen here in July-and we had a cold Winter and cool Spring, as well...

With all due respect-Hispanic is not a race-like most of us, I am White/Caucasian-Hispanic is an ethnic group-ancestors came from Spain and Portugal. There are Black Hispanics from the Caribbean Islands-Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc-but those people are a mix of Caucasian and Black. In the Philippines, there are Asian Hispanics-they are bi-racial, too. Wishful liberals started calling Hispanic a race about 50 years ago to create friction between us and other Caucasians-it is not real unless British and Italian and every other ethnic group are races, too...

I called a halt to work today at noon for me and my 3 co-workers-always do on hottest days in Summer when working outdoors-worker safety comes first, unless you want to lose your company’s insurance coverage...

I’m living in it, here in Scottsdale. It’s hot. But, it’s been hot before and it’ll be hot again. As long as my AC holds out, I wont need to get a hotel. Pushing it, as my unit is a 2004 Trane.

I don’t disagree with you entirely - but I’m a white 58 yr old guy who dug out a backflow preventer today because all my people were occupied with other urgent matters. In Phoenix. And I’m a manager who makes more money than I deserve, and I contract millions of dollars of work annually. I would agree with you about this though... You don’t see too many YOUNG white guys out there working in the sun.

Not that I totally agree with it, but Google George Carlin's rant on Environmentalism.

Not even the hottest since maybe calibrated thermometers in every section of the planet. This occurred in 2055. since before that time there were no calibrated international thermometers

Considering that humans weren’t around at that time it isn’t as much of a concern as we tend to look towards our own survival.

Have these guys explain to me how geologists show that the Mediterranean Sea dried up and there was a land bridge between Asia and North America.

Don’t think Natives Americans swam here.

Climate changed major before humans even existed.

Ever see a pix of a brontosaurus and the fern next to it is tall as it is. That’s cuz CO2 was through the roof. Back when the planet was really green.

So F**ing what? It is summer. If you still haven’t realized that go back into your Mommy’s basement.

The “hottest” day the other day was hot only in comparison to 1979. Gessh.

I actually remember reading that leftist drivel from those scholastic reporters pamphlets we’d get a few times a year in school. They were Pearl clutching over the disaster of 3 Mile Island and how bad for the environment it is....
