Jackson Wyoming is full of tourists and extremely rich folks. The increased security is to protect the rich from the tourists! They also want you all to visit Yellowstone less often, like never.
When Wyoming is gone (anything for money for elected officials), the nation is gone.
We have these in places in NYS.
Various local constabularies are on record stating that they don’t use them to investigate traffic violations.
Meanwhile, traffic fatalities are up double digits in NYS since the lockdown.
So what in Hades are these things being used to do...?
One thing I know they do is nail people with warrants out on them. I know they nail expired registrations as well in NYS.

In the Moscow, Idaho killings, I strongly suspected that investigators went through databases created by these types of cameras, and quickly narrowed down their potential suspect list. With that, they knew who to look for in the DNA databases, like 23 and Me. Basically anyone who gets away with a significant crime at this point is being PROTECTED, for whatever reason.
