France has two choices:

There's been no successful middle ground in history. Of course, the French will choose option 1.

Yup - the problem is also that after one generation, they ARE all officially French. No deportation possible then. And that’s the game plan for the U.S. as well.

There's been no successful middle ground in history. Of course, the French will choose option 1. The French are elitist. Just take a look at Macron. It was probably a bad idea for them to import millions of immigrants from North Africa. But the French gave them nothing to invest in the nation they're living in right now.
