I’m tired of Wise Latinas, including Sotomayor and my six sisters in law.

So If I went into a business that designed cakes, and I knew
it was a homosexual owned business but wanted them to use
a certain bible verse on the cake, say Leviticus 20:13, and they refused, should I sue them and try to force them to bake the cake?

Ruled in her favor, yes, but did not overturn the law. So we’ll see more lawsuits like this going to the Supreme Court?

They also made President Biden a defacto dictator, allowing him to spend trillions on student loan forgiveness with no intervention possible. Alito wrote it, unanimous decision!

“The creeps purposely sought out a Christian business to force them when there are dozens of alternatives”

Actually, I don’t think that’s true. I heard a podcast about this and the website designer initiated the case proactively, recognizing the likely future ramifications of the law for artists like herself.

She is truly a hero for doing this. Blessings to her for sure!

Actually wrote in error. TWO cases involving student loans went up. One was dismissed. The other seems to limit Biden. I erred.

“The Secretary asserts that the HEROES Act grants him the authority to cancel $430 billion of student loan principal. It does not. We hold today that the Act allows the Secretary to “waive or modify” existing statutory or regulatory provisions applicable to financial assistance programs under the Education Act, not to rewrite that statute from the ground up.”

“Do protected classes come from civil rights laws which banned discrimination?”

Not a lawyer, but I believe they do. What’s interesting is how the ‘protected classes’ increase due to executive and judicial actions. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 would have never passed Congress had it been known that it would cover the alphabet people.

Heterosexual white men are perhaps the only unprotected class.

“protected class” = special rights for some, elevating them to super-human status with the right to force you to do things you don’t want to. Don’t comply? Criminal.

The court’s three liberal justices, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, dissented.

Notice yesterday that the same three dissented on the affirmative action decisions. They are the poster children of affirmative action. It is abundantly clear the harm affirmative action has caused. Within my lifetime faggotry has gone from being nearly universally repulsive to Americans to mainstream. It’s because we allowed people without ability to be decision makers.

There are a lot of incompetents waking up this morning afraid. They truly feel threatened. They are potentially dangerous. If we are to reclaim America’s greatness we need to persist and return these people to their deserved stations in life.

She had to throw that last part in since Google/YouTube, Twitter and facebook had been doing this to conservatives. She needed to say protected group to get around that inconvenient fact.

“Actually wrote in error. TWO cases involving student loans went up. One was dismissed. The other seems to limit Biden. I erred.”

Only in the sense that it said the litigants had no standing in that case. It did not rule on the merits of the law being challenged.

What did they come up with as a workarou d or whatever? I missed it.

One that I heard of was using an essay in the application requiring the prospective student to write about adversities they had growing up because of their race, and using that essay as a certain percentage of the total score deciding whether to admit the applicant.

The USSC reversed the ruling of the Colorado Human Rights Commission and the Colorado Courts. The case ended and was not remanded, but they did leave a path for Colorado to go after him and others in a slightly more nuanced manner.

Basically, they said the commission would have been fine had they merely ruled against him without their bizarre anti-Christian comments comparing his Christian belief to the Holocaust and slavery.

Because Justice Kennedy was the swing vote and went with a wishy washy decision.

Now have a Court with three Trump picks that are far more principled.

A huge victory for religious liberty today. Fight on.

I’d not require a Jewish bakery to make me an Easter cake either. Or a Moslem graphic artist to draw Mohammed.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 created the bizarre idea that US private entities were not free to discriminate on whatever basis they please. Chickens are coming home to roost.

Let’s cut to the chase; When some leftist starts moaning about this, ask them if it would be alright for the Trump 2024 campaign to force them to create campaign swag. “Would you be OK with the government forcing you to produce ‘Trump 2024’ shirts?”

Absolutely! If a pervert couple needs flowers for their "wedding"...or photos...or a cake...I don't want their business and shouldn't be compelled to serve them.

However,OTOH,if I own an ambulance company and a pervert needs to get to the hospital I can easily see why I'd be compelled to give him/her/it a ride even though I don't like their choices.

Ambulance rides are essential....but flowers most assuredly aren't.
