I disagree. Most of the people in this country who express idiotic Marxist ideas have never read Marx, never met a card carrier.
At a bare minimum there are ten million communists and/or Marxists in America now of whom the majority were either born in America or arrived at any early age a long time ago.
Neutralizing their impact on American politics is the real goal, I don’t think there is currently much of a problem posed by immigrant communists although I agree you should keep them from entering.
