The Taliban, ISIS, VC, and Feral Somalis did just fine with small arms and guerilla warfare.

God forbid the people ever turn on the United States of America and her government. It would be over pretty quick. I would not want to be a member of the military if the people turned on our country. Imagine 150 million Americans standing up for their rights in being incredibly well-armed versus a military that would not be very happy about going against her own sons and daughters. I think it would be a pretty quick and almost immediate collapse of our government’s leadership. Joe Biden is right about one thing. You don’t need an M16. You don’t need an AR-15. You don’t need an AR-14. All you need is the people to have a reason and if we are just a step away from an entire financial collapse if all people want is food and gas in their vehicle, politicians can be replaced pretty quick. Joe maybe replaced by his own party without guns. At this moment they could use the 25th amendment against him. They could use his prior actions of treason against the United States and even filling out a false statement when he ran for president that he did not engage in treasonous acts against his country. Governments need the military. All people need is a reason. Let them eat cake :-)

Difference was is the feds have home field advantage vs playing whack a mole with taliban in the desert caves of afghanistan.

I do believe however, fedzilla would be incapable of stopping taliban like warfare in the us.

Those javelins l they sent to ukraine would work rather nicely on stationary aircraft…..

This ruins the entire gun control position. They’re always saying it’s crazy to to think the government would come after us.

Here he is admitting it.

We’re the Obama words that the mental dwarf uttered written in his prompter or were they sent through the earpiece?

President Biden took another swipe at Second Amendment supporters Tuesday evening, reminding them that they would "need an F-16" to challenge the U.S. government.

The only reason US civilians would ever need an F-16 to challenge the US government is if the US government planned to unleash the US military against US civilians. Good luck getting US soldiers to take up arms against the civilians of the US.

Everyone seems to get lured right straight into the contentious aspect of this whole premise and thus focus on the debate between if, what, and how a conflict between citizens and government would take.

I would like to back on out and focus on the context of the statement in general;

Why is the POTUS even framing the second amendment in terms of winning a conflict with it’s own citizens at all?

Isn’t he inherently telegraphic his problem with the second amendment? That citizens may be able to defend themselves against government?

It’s rather chilling

Didn’t this whole “gun control” thing start by saying we
couldn’t have sawed off shot guns .... because
they were NOT weapons of war ...

or am I confused again....?

What we don’t need is DC anymore. It has proven itself, as the anti-federalists knew, to have become a tyrannical government.

The fact of the matter is we’re truly under Continuity of Government operations.

Nothing is what it seems.

"I taught it for four years, six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. It says there are certain weapons that you just can’t own. Even during when it was passed, you couldn’t own a cannon. You can’t own a machine gun."

Assuming that's true, those students need to demand their tuition refunded.
