The 134 freeway going through West Pasadena and Eagle Rock, Calif. has been named the President Barack H. Obama Highway. From the freeway, you can gaze down on my beloved Fiji Hill in Eagle Rock.
I was surprised there was a MacDonald’s even open in this area - which the residents bitterly complain is a “food desert” - while their “leaders” like Maxine Waters try to stop opening of fast food restaurants for “the people’s health.”
And thus a new food desert
Too bad for the criminals
