There’s a good explanation of the Milan outbreak. The leather goods industry keeps Chinese slave labor confined on ships and brings them ashore to work. Apparently, if you don’t sleep in Italy, there’s less paperwork.
But Iran? And especially senior leadership? Any complete theory has to explain that.
And, by the way, the Times article answered all my questions about the details of how this happened. I have a background that includes basic molecular virology, and a lot of Newsmax-level discussion of this left too many holes for me. I read the whole article - and I’m convinced.

The paper trail incontestably goes back at least to 2002. Dr. David Martin is the most coherent and thorough investigator I have encountered in my research and leaves no doubt about the origins of this planned mass murder campaign.
