When Ukraine’s long-awaited counteroffensive finally begins, the fight will be led by brigades armed not only with Western weapons but also Western know-how, gleaned from months of training aimed at transforming Ukraine’s military into a modern force skilled in NATO’s most advanced warfare tactics.

Isn't that the Uke army that Russia spent the last year destroying. But acording the propogandists of the empire, the Russians were destroyed. So, why does Ukraine need this new army when the old one went from victory to victory. I guess we need two more weeks to flatten the curve.

We don't know the truth. What we are told by these neocon shills is just a bunch of lies.

Should the “2nd largest military” needed to mobilize to defeat little ole Ukraine. Even before western weapons were delivered to Ukraine Russia was defeated in their goals. This standing military was what the Russians thought they needed to defeat NATO as a whole and can’t defeat Ukraine. Interesting if Russia was so sure that NATOwas going to invade I would imagine a little more preparation was in order oh wait they have the T-14 and 57 er ah nevermind
Can Russia drag this out and slaughter many more Russians and Ukrainians in the process I am sure they are good at that.

So, why does Ukraine need this new army when the old one went from victory to victory.

Its to fight the new conscripted russian army in day 464 of Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a "partial mobilization" of Russia's armed forces on Wednesday morning — signing a decree that will send Russians who have gone through military training to join the fight in Ukraine while stopping short of an all-out draft. Sept. 21, 2022.

The Russians ran out of ammo a long time ago. Down to shovels. Read it here on FR.

Don’t worry, we have the latest batch of wonder weapons on the way

The oligarchs the kleptocrats, the bankers , rub their filthy hands in glee.

Nothing sweeter than war loot, freshly squeezed from the front.

The problem with the US media isn’t that it’s all lies (and some is lies), but that

A. It selects facts to report, and neglects to report other relevant information.
B. It removes inconvenient context (such as disparities in interracial murders, etc.).
C. It piles on in politically convenient matters with endless repetition, and turns on the partisan Wurlitzer, and barely mentions things that aren’t convenient.

A fact is almost always still a fact, even if it is in the Wapo. If you want more, such as context and perspective, look elsewhere for material to create it. No single source will give you that.

But this all is a time consuming and brain-exercising process. We need to be our own open source intelligence analysts. It doesn’t hurt to have absorbed a large database of history to help with the context and perspective. Not an exercise that’s going to appeal to everyone.

Biden/Euro-Conmen war is failing .

Right, its not Putin's invasion of neighboring Ukraine for territorial gain. Okay

Russia has proven it still knows how to fight a war....

Yes, russia the #2 military in the world knows in day 464 of its invasion of Ukraine how to fight with WW1 style trench tactics. This you seem to find remarkable.

WP is the conduit for Deep State propaganda. We are being fed this information to support a narrative. The idea that the touted Ukrainian counteroffensive will be conducted without US/NATO involvement is a fairytale.

Another fine yes, no, yes, no, maybe, maybe not, surely but surely not, yes some more, no some more thread, virtual salvos fired and missing targets. It's coming! It's not. Pejoratives from one side, and return pejoratives from another. All without real effect, as no one goes home in a body bag.

And yet, $32,000,000,000,000.00 in national debt is just around the corner, and the "support" for the non-NATO, NATO war between two thugs flows on, adding to American children's debt burden when they are old enough to have the government dun in the future for today's -- and the last two decades -- of police actions, kinetic actions, support for war and war and war, from the middle East to now Europe including Kosovo and the current Biden folks foretelling war with China in 2025.

Yes, no, yes. no virtual salvos are not doing a thing, actually. But it remains interesting how "authoritative" such as the Washington Post has become for those wanting to foretell tomorrow, next month or the outcome of the Ukraine-Russia war.

A fact is almost always still a fact, even if it is in the Wapo.

This is more of the illogical garbage from the left that has rotted ouyt your brain. A fact that is not always a fact isn't a fact. It's a lie.

And, virtually the entire mess around the Russian conspiracy was one of the biggest stinking piles of lies produced by any government anywhere in the world.

Its to fight the new conscripted russian army

But this makes no sense. The Ukie army was victorious, with minimal casualties and highly successful at destroying Russian equipment. Just resupply them and let them move on to their next victory.
