Notably, Trump has the edge among independents and Democrats as well, as 32 percent of independents chose Trump, compared to 27 percent who chose DeSantis. However, 41 percent remain unsure. Thirty-one percent of Democrats also chose Trump as the individual who they believe had a better chance of winning, compared to 29 percent who said DeSantis. Forty percent of Democrats also remain uncertain.
Further, a Monmouth University poll released this week also found most Republicans identifying Trump as the “strongest nominee” to challenge Biden — 63 percent.

So much for the “DeSantis is more electable” chirade.

“believe” doesn’t mean it will happen. Joey will use the abortion issue to mobilize independents and soccer moms to vote for him. And we are not even talking about his opponent. Take away both of that, Joey will lose. But I’m not so sure if we’re being smart in 2024.

Much like:
1. DeSantis is more electable.
2. DeSantis is going to overcome the gigantic lead Trump has over hiim.
Both statements are firmly "believed" by the DeSanctimonious supporters.

If you believe polling
I don’t trust it at all.

2. DeSantis is going to overcome the gigantic lead Trump has over hiim. It's still early. If the primaries were held today, I think DeSantis will win Iowa, NH. Then Trump will win South Carolina before dominating the Super Tuesday primaries. It's a good fight that we need. Even if DeSantis loses this time, he'll get the practice he needs for 2028.

Espically in very early June of 2023.

It's not "if, but "when".

The problem with DeSantis is that he has all the wrong friends.

One has to wonder that if the tables were turned, and DeSantis was overwhelmingly winning, if your response would be the same.
Somehow I don't think so.

Espically in very early June of 2023.Anything can happen between now and 2024. But I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 6 months, Biden decides to arrest Trump, just for the hell of it and to manipulate the primaries so we'll vote for Trump (we shouldn't fall for it, that's bait) because he knows he can beat Trump in the general election.
He's vulnerable against DeSantis.
To: SoConPubbie
Your mistake is thinking I want DeSantis.
I’ll take him, trump or anyone who is not Biden or the Democrat.
So yes I would be saying the same thing.

Even if DeSantis loses this time, he'll get the practice he needs for 2028. Lindsey, George W, Mittens, Lizzy, Cocaine Mitch and all the others who are DeSantis’s most ardent supporters should get together and set up a debate camp. I am sure that would help. /s

what would cement trump’s pending victory is if somebody at DOJ or FBI got and executed an arrest warrant against Trump.
an arrest could be timed to attempt to make Trump unavailable for campaigning... perhaps if they arrested his kids through some untied shoe string from when they were in middle school... decades ago.
BUT an arrest would cement his voting block... as well as trigger rebellion amongst the independents... against the regime.
It would not surprise me if Trump was secretly hoping for an arrest or incarceration to trigger rebellion against the Nazi socialist regime and deep state that carries Obama’s water, and vice versa.

I don’t believe anything I read on Breitbart. Bannon must want some sort of gig again.
Damn shame what Bannon is doing to the Breitbart name.
