These DeSantis supporters just don’t get it. DeSantis is just a GOPe “Trojan Horse”. In due time they’ll see it too.

More like the only competition at this point so why waste time/money on others unless things change. That said, RDS is waaaay behind, even though he is the closest in the poll numbers t Trump, so using the word “fear” is hyperbole. It’s politics—that’s the game.

Agree but DeSantis isn’t smart he’s a player getting played a lot of democrat ties to that boy.

Democrats aren’t leaving any stone unturned to stop Trump it’s a futile move.

If Trump had not run again and backed DeSantis strongly, DeSantis would of beat Biden in a landslide

DeSantis is the most conservative Governor in the nation and also most popular, who won by nearly 20 Percent, in a state that usually decided by less than 3.5%

The fact that GOPe duds like Jeb and others support him, doesn’t make him GOPe, it simply means they realize that he is the only one with a shot at beating Trump.

I believe that also. I wouldn’t be as worried if I didn’t think Trump might run 3rd party if he were to lose the primary somehow

I’m voting for DeSantis in ‘24, ‘28 and after I’m dead from Chicago. He’d have to be found with a live boy or dead women before I’d vote for Trump!

So then if Trump is the Republican nominee, you are an example of a DeSantis supporter who won't vote for the nominee? Or are you just talking about the primary?

Clearly Trump learned nothing from 2020. This type crap scares of independents. If he hadn’t run them off in 2020 no amount of cheating would have put Biden over the top.

Trump gained about 12 millions votes in 2020. If those weren't RINOs, then who were they?

Comical how some believe polls over sixteen months before the election. Of course maybe the reason the Trump organization is trying to kill a knat with an A-Bomb is because they have polls showing something concerning to them.

He expanded his core, but did not do well with Independents, even center right Indies.

That’s true about polling. We all know how Hillary beat Obama.

Trump and DeSantis are on a course of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD)

And this could go on for a year. Meanwhile illegals continue to surge into the country, and our election process, at least in the swing states, remains corrupt.

‘The Trump team is all in for leftists and out to destroy conservatives.”

What a BS statement, coming from a big Biden supporter, obviously.

“This is a big mistake he’s making. Like I said in another thread, he’s going to be polling behind Vivek R in another month, ending his short presidential career. That is, unless his GOPe/democrat handlers believe he can actually hurt Trump by staying in the race.”

It’s no mistake. It’s a calculated decision....a “just in case” decision.... based on the fact that the left is working feverishly to disqualify Trump from running for president. Should they succeed in that goal before a primary election vote can occur, we’ll need a “not Trump” viable candidate to run against the Democrats.

Should they succeed in disqualifying Trump after he won the primary election, they’d do it at ‘the last minute’ to more effectively stab at the heart of the GOP, and we would quickly need a “replacement” candidate. That candidate would most likely be someone next in polling down the line from Trump....ie currently DeSantis.

That’s how my logic plays it out. If anyone has a better hypothetical theory, let’s have it.

Don Jr is a RINO, while you back the Bush-candidate DeSantis? (And I have never begun to see the appeal of KG.)

Your rhetorical question and your opinion on KG are both correct.

That certainly wasn’t a “threat”. She simply stated her belief that running against Trump would damage DeSantis politically. She wasn’t threatening physical harm.
