I started to vote absentee after Clinton got elected in 1992.
I had to stand in line and listen to Democrats for an hour talk their shit. I took all my self control to not attack the obnoxious bastards. Democrats have no sense of civility.
I don’t talk to them or mix with them when I can avoid it. They are so self centered, they don’t even realize they are despised by thinking people. I waste my time voting because it is all fixed anyway, but I’d rather do it from home.

I have an idea for mail-in ballots.

If you choose to vote by mail-in ballot, then you forfeit your right to a “secret” ballot.

Your ballot will be encoded in such a way that it will be permanently linked to the security affidavit signature envelope. Only authorized election officials will be able to access the key that links a specific ballot to a specific signature envelope, so that not just any volunteer worker can find a specific voter’s ballot.

But if after election day a ballot signature is successfully challenged and found to be invalid, then the election officials will have the means to access the original ballot, and remove those votes from the election totals.

Right now, once a ballot is separated from its signature envelope, it doesn’t matter if the signature is later proven to be invalid, there’s no way to “undo” the ballot votes.

mail-in voting can never be full-proof. Only way forward is digital voting using phones. It will give major boost to stay home voters from both parties, but broad measures to prevent illegal voting, vote harvesting, duplicate/dead voting can easily be prevented.

And ‘secret ballot’ may NOT apply whenever voting not in-person with valid ID.

That means an audit trail right back to the person who signed the ballot envelope...the price of convenience (or otherwise).

Its not harvesting. It’s sending out UNSOLICITED ballots and then going out and collecting them regardless if they are filled out or not. Even if the voter did it live at a polling place.

Then judges illegality allow then counted even after deadlines and even without signatures.

That’s called cheating folks. Get it ? Tired if hearing the “move on from 2020” idiots.

Changes in voting have been happening for a long time, all of them bad in the sense that they violate America’s civil religion around voting and its role in self-government.

It began in WW II with officers voting. This had never been allowed, since holders of the President’s commission were supposed to be politically neutral.

Then the move to early voting. Early voting, though it is quite popular here, is a cancer on our civil religion. The entire theory of voting as a tool for self government is that educated citizens will LISTEN to the candidates and their campaigns and make up their minds when they have heard all the facts.

Now, that’s always been a bit of a fiction. But hyocrisy is, as Oscar Wilde said, “the homage that vice pays to virtue”. Most FReepers would vote for the Republican two years before he’s nominated.

Mail-in voting didn’t start with the pandemic. It just extends to Democrats what early voting gave to Republicans - the right not to hear the candidates, the right not to be informed about Hunter Biden’s laptop, the right to face the “other” candidate with fingers in their ears saying “Nyah, nyah, I can’t hear you”.

And ballot harvesting takes this to the next level. Now, a “citizen” does not even have to know there’s an election, or what the purpose of an election is, to cast his vote.

We cannot return to Election Day. The spirit of republicanism that made Election Day possible has died, and the Republic that a sprit of republicanism made possible is deader than a doornail.

We cannot allow it to be replaced by “Our Democracy”. That way lies communist revolution.

Remember, we have a RIGHT to alter or abolish a government which stands against life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and “to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness”.

That is your birthright as Americans. Get thinking about what that looks like, because this rotten Red vs Blue clown show is about to expire.

See ya’ on election night. Just being real. Prove me wrong. Change my mind. What substantive act has the GOP undertaken to stop the theft of 2020 and 2022 from repeating? Specifics please. What have they done in Maricopa County? Keri lake just had a ton of proof tossed and dismissed. What have they done in Fulton County? The GA gov and SoS say everything there is just peachy keen. How about Wayne County in Michigan? Seen or heard anything there? Crickets chirping. Same with Milwaukee and Madison Counties in Wisconsin. Bupkis. In Pennsylvania they actually installed a barely functioning retard as a Senator. The Arizona-Georgia-Pennsylvania-Michigan-Wisconsin fraud firewall has only been strengthened. So, prove me wrong. Put your money where your mouth is.

A fair election requires the election process -- from registration to voting to vote tallying -- must be rigorously controlled and closely monitored.

Mail-in voting severely compromises those controls. When combined with vote harvesting, the election process is destroyed along with the integrity of the election.
