Mexico fought and lost a war. They were paid for the land and the people living there were not kicked off.

Reparations have long been paid in the form of welfare and housing to this population.

They see what blacks are doing and want a cut of the action.

Los Angeles has a declining tax base as taxpayers and businesses flee the state. 1% of taxpayers in the state pay 40-50% of all state taxes.

Los Angeles is the capital of the Third World.

“...California was created as a “free state,” and black residents are 6.5% of the population, versus 40.2% Latino...”

As Pat Buchanan has said (about this type of population): “They’ll vote themselves services every time.”

A whole slew of Latino candidates will come forward with a “reparations” agenda for their people - and they’ll be voted in.

Problem is, California is broke - and those who filled its coffers are either being driven out or fleeing the state.

Indeed you don’t see the white people demanding reparations that kept their carcass free.

It was very contentious at the time. The city decided to use its powers of eminent domain and the property owners were compensated, so how much more would they be owed.

This does differ, however from the ‘slavery reparations’ b.s. in that it is possible that some of the displaced homeowners might yet still be alive.

As a former Dodgers fan I can remember the glee and gloating of Giants fans over how Candlestick was finished two years before Dodger Stadium. I think time has shown that the Dodgers did a better job.

On the other hand, as a lifelong Giants fan, I agree that Dodger Stadium should be dynamited and the land given over to these grifters

I don't know what they are on about. I've been to a Dodgers game, I think I was the only gringo there.

Now that the reparations train is moving ahead, I’m looking forward to my own claims:

I want reparations from England for my ancestors being persecuted under threat of the Halifax Gibbet.

I want reparations from the Crown of England for the religious persecutions of my ancestors resulting in them being forced to take a dangerous journey across the Atlantic in 1634 to attempt a better life.

I want reparations from the Democrats and the Southern States for the death of my uncle in the Battle of Plain Store, Louisiana. Also from the ancestors of the cowardly Massachusetts regiment that fled in a panic which caused confusion leading to the death of my uncle. American blacks with slave ancestors should kick in, too, for his sacrifice.

I want reparations from Germany for the deaths of my mother’s Hungarian ancestors in Auschwitz.

I’m thinking I’ll be living high on the hog once these reparations are properly paid...

Some of my ancestors were the Huron, therefore I demand reparations from the Iroquois.
