"Quarles was pretty far back and didn’t gain much, tho’ I am surprised he beat Craft ... (Again, that’s just from the polling a couple weeks out.)"

Yeah his strength had to have been underpolled, but he beat her open lengths for 2nd -- 4.5 points -- and now Cameron has a delicate decision to make for Lt. Gov.

Colorado Springs has turned into a left wing craphole. Meanwhile, in Philly, we just Elected a Mayor who wants more Police and Business friendly policies. The Left got crushed here last night.

Daniel received around 850,000 during that same election. Beshear “won” by 4,000, three days after the election Dominion voting machines were zeroed out and only a canvas of precincts was available, which meant counting totals not ballots.

Whether or not a candidate is funded depends on the base. Our base has sat on its behinds and kept their wallets closed the last 3 election cycles leaving our candidates twisting in the wind. The Democrats don’t have that problem - their base floods their candidates with tens of millions - even hundreds of millions - from small donors, while our base sits around looking for who establishment super PACs choose to spend money on and complain if we don’t like what they do, leaving our own candidates twisting in the wind to an onslaught - by choice.

The were no Dominion voting machines involved. Bevin lost the race - and he personally lost it by making one stupid statement after another. The last of which was coming out for tolls in northern Kentucky the weekend before the election, causing deep red counties to turn light red and even light blue. Just one fewer stupid statement would have allowed him to win.

I would pick Quarles if I were him - he has a previous record of electoral success statewide and he would appeal to rural voters to round out the ticket.

Though the fact Craft could just write a check and fully fund the campaign to start with probably is tempting. But...she didn’t even get 20% of the vote. That’s a poor showing given how much she spent.

Beshear has been smart enough to be not way whacky liberal

Really? Which Beshear have you been paying attention to? He's been as far left as you can get. However, this state has been governed to the right because of the super majority Republicans in the legislature overriding his vetos.
