I want to win in 24 .
The only person with an R by their name I’m convinced could win in 2024 is DeSantis.
Is not on policy or anything else, it’s the fact that the powers who be will him to win in order to shove it down the American populace throats about who is winnable candidate.
The whole system is corrupt. DeSantis had an easy cruise to nomination in 2028 (better or worse) but I think he blew it over the non-chalant/delayed announcement this year.

My Take:
DeSantis is counting on the the corrupt legal system to take out Trump. If they can get Trump on a Felony then DeSantis figures he is a shoe in.

But I’m voting Trump in the primaries.
That said, in the general I will vote for any of them who gets the nomination over whatever corrupt garbage the Dems put up as their nominee.
Heck, I’d vote for a ham sandwich, gerbil, or piece of toast over any Dem candidate.
My POTUS, PDJT, is a once in a lifetime historic leader who sacrificed a life of luxury to stand in the breach for all of us to save the world.
DeSanctimonious is another run-of-the-mill political puppet who’s following his masters who just so happen to be donors determined to take down the very man to whom he owes his current office. His betrayal of our GOAT POTUS has exposed his considerable character flaws and his recent overseas travel demonstrated his unfitness to be the leader of the free world.
I will never cast a vote for him nor for any of the other far inferior and delusional GOP 2024 candidates.
Trump has done nothing for the Gop but use it .

I suspect Republican party apparatchiks approached DeSantis soon after Trump took office, and got into his head. They convinced him that if he aligned himself politically with Trump, he’d have a bright future.
They stroked his ego, and his wallet, and told them if he did things just right, he could become the leading contender to succeed Trump once Trump was out of office. DeSantis is ambitious and like what he heard. It would be an easy blueprint to follow - support and align yourself with a popular populist candidate. He probably envisioned running in 2024, after Trump finished his second term. Then Trump had the election stolen from him, and his consultants and handlers switched from - “You’re well positioned to succeed Trump” to “You’re well positioned to replace Trump”.
Now if DeSantis had really loyal to Trump or to Trump’s anti-establishment, anti-globalist agenda, he would have said, “No thanks. Trump’s still in the game and he’s the clear favorite to be re-nominated in 2024. I’ll wait till he’s served his second term.” But DeSantis was never about MAGA, or loyalty. He’s always been an opportunist.
I’ll never support another career lawyer politician. I’m done with that. Thanks to the never ending conga line of these types, America is now all but dead on the floor.
If Trump wins the GOP nod, and that may very well happen, the Dem oppo ads will be non-stop about porn star hush money indictment, impeachment, J6, and many other loud, but effective, slurs.
The electorate has changed much in the soon-to-be 8 years since '16. More low info voters who get their "news" from online leftists.
And, on top of that, Mister Trump continually and continuously chooses to insult and disenfranchise GOPers and Indies, whose votes he desperately needs, to divide his own party. Astonishing. He shrinks his own base, would a complete thinker do such a thing before an election?
