I actually was alive during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s as a young BEER drinking person. Coors was NEVER boycotted successfully because it was in such high demand that students, truckers and others WENT to Colorado to get Coors... because it had to be refrigerated.
It tasted different than Bud, Lone Star, Schlitz, Texas Pride...etc.. The actually made a movie about how cool and popular Coors was by bootleggers getting Coors to a rich guy that LOVED it.
If any guy back in the 70’s said he was gay, he was mocked and belittled. If a product EVER was associated with that, it was done... finished.
I guess that they never understood why Elton John, Blue Oyster Cult, Queen and other entertainers ALWAYS denied, married beards or hid their homosexual behavior. Even in the movie 7 Days in May... the use of homosexual blackmail was used.

It’s not a boycott. Nobody is asking AB to change anything about the way they do business. I don’t drink their beer for a lot of other reasons but if I can’t get a good beer and all I have to choose from is Bud or Coors, I will buy Coors. That isn’t a boycott because I am not a customer. I reject their wokeness and that is forever.
Yes, the boycott is effective or is it a girlcott or a transcott?
