It’s in CNN’s best interest to promote Trump as the 2024 nominee. I don’t think they will get nasty tricks going just yet? I agree CCN needs and wants to take advantage of Foxes Bud Light fiasco and grab some of that market. Trump was great for CNN ratings.

Like what?
What is going to do about the crime family currently occupying the White House?

“his team recognizes that he needs to start venturing beyond the fringe to gain access to a broader audience ...”
I’m glad they figured that out. :-)

I see it as deliberate sabotage from the Trump inner circle that supported this impending disaster.

This isn’t going to go well for DJT.
Why?

What I said on another thread:
I hope he’s not doing this because he’s getting bad advice from another poor personel decision.
apparently I’m not the only one who thought of that.

Anything and everything CNN is hostile to him. They’ll do their level best to destroy him.

Calculated risks seem to be the only choices Trump has had for the last six years.

A number of years ago Charlie Rangel brought up the issue of reinstituting the draft. Trump should refresh the memories of the now 30-year-olds. Do it when the issue of freedom comes up. It could be the 2nd amendment, speech- anything. Throwing in the draft issue would strike a raw nerve, something the democrats are better at.

Trump will hit it out of the park. Collins used to question him in press conferences.
Good opportunity for CNN viewers to hear Trump unfiltered. CNN did not cover the Comer press today. I am sure Trump will bring that up if Collins doesn't.

Critics of CNN said it should not be giving Trump a live, prime-time platform — “normalizing” him as just another presidential candidate — and claiming it’s part of new CNN effort to appeal to a more conservative audience.

The Great Task, a political action committee sponsored by former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, launched a new ad Tuesday it said was scheduled air on CNN this week in New Hampshire “ahead of and during the former President’s scheduled town hall on the network in the state.”
