The signs could be there and until I can verify it either way, I can’t say for sure the place was a gun free zone or not.

Golly I don’t know what the cartels’ standards for membership are. But since beheading, human trafficking and wonton slaughter of innocents are among their specialties I doubt they’re very selective.
Yes, I haven’t seen a single report stating which gang the shooter belonged to. Usually, when a shooter is a member of a gang, they identify the gang.
He could’ve left a manifesto and we still wouldn’t know unless the media wanted us to.
