I had such hope for Bill Barr, Victoria Townsing and her husband (name escapes me) gave such high praises of Barr he was going to be the cat’s meow!! Turned out to be just ANOTHER DEEP STATE STOOGE!! If Trump gets back into office and THAT is a BIG IF, he has to find department heads that are from OUTSIDE DC!! NEVER have EVER worked in or near DC!!! The worst mistake Trump made was letting Ivanka and Jared talk him into getting rid of Bannon as Chief of Staff he was a VERY LOYAL gatekeeper HUGE MISTAKE!! First, he didn’t need any great appointnents to prevent Fauci’s Red Triumphant Destruction of America. Fire him for the test debacle. That was plenty of grounds legally.
Second, yeah, fill the lower ranks with movement conservatives, like Reagan did without even having a Senate majority, and when he found out he had picked a nearly unanimolusly Stalinist cabinet, fire their asses.

He didn’t have to fight for a single candidate. Every candidate went through a Republican-majority Senate with every Republican vote. The uniparty didn’t force Trump to pick who he picked. He was an incompetent know-nothing, not because he was stupid, but because he had zero experience, no-one he could trust to learn from, and no inclination to adjust his tactics.
The ONE nomination I’ll cut him slack for was Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Sessions was a great, noble Christian with all the integrity in the world, but he should never have recused himself. Accepting the Senate’s approval and then only partly stepping down left Rosenstein in charge of everything that truly mattered. Sessions should have realized the effect of being a Boy Scout instead of a warrior. But them Trump was too weak to fire Rosenstein, and that’s on him, not Sessions.
