Kurt Olsen wrote the contest rules very tightly to preclude anyone being able to claim the prize unless the "information" provided (not just original raw "data," such as packet captures) did NOT "reflect," or was NOT "related" to the 2020 election. So, unless a contestant could prove that the information provided was related to something other than the 2020 election, the prize could not be claimed. The arbitration panel dismissed the clear, strict contest rules, and instead substituted its own rule that the contest could only be about original source election data, by citing an excessively unreasonable counter-example:

"Newspaper articles and broadcast news about the election are transmitted as data over the internet, for example. It is unreasonable to conclude that any data file containing those accounts – or excerpts from such a file – would qualify as election data in a contest. If such data qualified, the Contest would not really be a contest at all."

From that point on, the panel had rigged the case inevitably against Lindell.

Zeidman never proved that anything provided to him (other than supplementary material, such as a video demonstrating how to use a certain data extraction application) did not "reflect" or was not "related" to the 2020 election. But he won anyway, because the panel had stacked the deck in his favor by changing the rules of the game.

p.s. - Per the article, "These days Zeidman is consumed by poker. You might find him at a high-stakes table at The Venetian or Wynn Las Vegas. He also has a popular poker blog at goodbeatpoker.substack.com."

Telling.

Re: 15 - Really? I don’t think so. No one has reported publicly (that went to the 2021 Cyber Symposium) that the data showed what Lindell claimed.
