Mike Lindell should buy the empty husk, rename it “My Stuff and Beyond” and put in a line of Trump merchandise.
“It catered to bathroom trinkets and impulse buyers.”
Impulse buying stores have hit the skids. Pier 1 Imports, Tuesday Morning, BBBY, etc.
You wouldn’t go to one of these stores saying “I want to purchased product x” because they might or might not have it.
In today’s world of two adults working and less disposable income this just doesn’t work. It’s not 1972 anymore.
Death by Pillow ?
I am 83.
I have RARELY seen ‘heirs’ who can run the parent company worth a hoot.
IF you want REAL cooking items & cutlery-—find a local RESTAURANT SUPPLY & spend a bit more-—but it LASTS..
I have Chef’s knife & a Carving knife I got in 1958. USE them all the time.
I have a stupid amount of quality gear. As they say, cry one...
For years I have bought it as gifts for kids and grandkids.
Yeah, we had a locally-owned printing supply store close last fall. Been there 20 years. Things just slowed down for them.
no they were a lousy store b4 Mike Lindell and The Pillows.
So it’s Chapter 7?
Good post. I really like BBB and will miss them. Woke owner could have made a U-turn at any time to save the company and the jobs of good and faithful employees.
Going-Out-of-Business sale should be xlnt. Grab that air fryer!!!
“So it’s Chapter 7?
except for some reason they filed chapter 11 ... probably better to screw their creditors that way ...
The plandemic trained the public to realize they really didn't need most things today.
You are correct! I used to take my wife shopping and she always wanted to go to BB+B but after they banned My Pillow I refused to go there and let her shop. Plenty of other stores to go to.
I was thinking the same thing. My Pillow, MAGA and Beyond
I know of several ladies, myself included who stopped shopping there after the My Pillow mess. I know they missed our money.
In the 1980s, I used a print shop to print my resumes. By 1990, I had an HP laser printer (two pages per minute) which was able to print professional looking resumes.
Of course today, I suppose many people email PDF resumes, or direct employers to their online resumes.
I liked Staples. The one near me closed about a year ago. The nearby Kinko's closed several years ago.
Getting harder to find a copy center at tax time. This year I used a UPS store.
I should have sued BB&B for nasal assault.
