Sorry, just wanted to note that he’s making unsupported claims regarding my military service.
“There is no stalking or harassment, this has been a normal thread with normal exchanges.”
This thread was DEAD for 24 hours, and you came back to PERSONALLY attack me.
I’m sure the moderator will see that.
This thread answers the question about if you have served.
“This thread answers the question about if you have served.”
Sorry Admin, but this guy won’t stop.
When and what branch?
It isn’t harassment when someone calls you out for positions you have taken. That’s part of debate.
“It isn’t harassment when someone calls you out for positions you have taken.”
If you also want to start stalking me, be my guest.
From your homepage: “RIP, USA - I very much enjoyed my rather long run in your country, and will always appreciate the great time I had. But now it’s on to another country, one without labor camps and other re-educational efforts taking place.”
By applying the second-party “your” in “your country,” per above, you are stating that the US is NOT your country, though you have spent “a rather long run” in the USA (in Texas? You show a Texas state flag on your home page); but that you are done with your stay in the US and are moving elsewhere.
Question: Since the USA was not and is not your country, what was your country when you wrote that, and what is your country now? I know in the past you had said you’d rather be in Russia during any WWIII, because Russia could survive a nuclear war. Was Russia your original country? Is it your country now?
“If you also want to start stalking me, be my guest.”
You’re a paranoid. I am not stalking you; we are on the same thread.
“”This thread was DEAD for 24 hours, and you came back to PERSONALLY attack me.””
We were both on the thread, and no one attacked you personally.
Being asked if you ever served when you make a post calling out others who never served, is a completely normal exchange.
“Being asked if you ever served when you make a post calling out others who never served, is a completely normal exchange.”
It seemed so to me, too.
“Being asked if you ever served when you make a post calling out others who never served, is a completely normal exchange.”
At least you’re civil. But on this site we call out doctors, politicians, and teachers, and we do not ask personal questions of them, because they are IRRELEVANT.
No one is getting personal, and everyone at FR is open about being a veteran, and when someone posts this
“”Could have used a system like that during Vietnam, so the draft dodgers would be in jail, rather than in the White House and Congress.
3 posted on 4/18/2023, 7:22:18 AM by BobL””
and everyone knows the poster didn’t serve, then the natural follow-up is to ask that poster if they avoided military service themselves.
“and everyone knows the poster didn’t serve, then the natural follow-up is to ask that poster if they avoided military service themselves.”
You realize that makes no sense and is PERSONAL ATTACK, since the you have no way of knowing what my military service history is.
So how about we refrain from making CLAIMS against other FReepers.
