I have a real simple question.
If they build the factories that will capture and permanently store the gas what would happen if say 10, 20, 30 years in the future there was a catastrophic “accident” where ALL the captured gas was released all at once?
I find it hard to accept that ANY man-made gas storage device can be made permanent.
Stop it. CO2 is not a pollutant. It is harmless. Stop asking quetions about it. Just oppose the madness on it’s own insane merits.
Harder to believe is that these essential elements of life on the planet need any such “removal”.
They have been saying this for decades, why the public doesn’t wise up is bizarre.

total waste of money ... sequestering and storing carbon is insane ... for one thing, the processes to do that simply add as much or more carbon to the atmosphere than they capture and sequester ...
It is insane because CO2 is not only harmless it is benficial.
Considering the history of the planet and the apparent continuing decline in the CO2 levels, we should be sounding the alarm that if this trend continues, CO2 will drop to a level that is unable to sustain life.

We’ve already warmed 1.3 degrees since 1850. In that time the world has increased life expectancy by 40 years. Does anyone think another .2 degrees is gong to make a difference?

I recently learned that those "mini mountains" are actually giant rocks that were deposited there by a mile thick glacier that,thousands of years ago,enveloped all of what today is called New York City. That glacier disappeared long,long before the advent of the internal combustion engine,gas stoves,air conditioning,etc.

This capture idea is the same as shutting down “safe” pipelines to use rail cars traveling over poorly maintained rails and then pissing and moaning that a derailment causes an environmental disaster. In other words Short Sighted Stupidity on the Left causes REAL Problems for Real People.

I gallon of gasoline produces 19.55 pounds of CO2. They want to subsidize carbon capture at 180 dollars a ton.
19.55lbs/2000 lbs x $180 = $1.75 That is the subsidy per gallon of gas. Where will they get this money? The answer is simple. It will be a Federal Gasoline Tax.
They want to kill the internal combustion engine, except for themselves. They want us to live in high density housing like the old Soviet Union and take public transportation. We will live in our little box of an apartment and do as “Big Brother” instructs us.
